The Blues

Sometimes I wish I could be as blindingly happy as our dog, Tassie. Everything is exciting for her: morning time, car rides, people coming to the door, squirrels, cookies, running…the list is endless. I’ve been kind of bummed for a few days, lots of things on my mind and having trouble smiling very much. Not my typical personality. We are going through a re-org at work so that brings a lot of uncertainty. Although I don’t think I’m going to lose my job, I also don’t quite know what my future holds or what the job will be like.

Everything will work out!

Hope you get to feeling better. I am sure there are GREAT things in store just around the corner. If it makes you fell any better, I am doing a 17 mile long run on Saturday. I'd rather be doing ANYTHInG else:). Hang in there Bri!

I hope everything goes okay with with work. Things always work out for the best even if they can be hard for awhile. I bet Tassie is sad when you leave. You only see her when she is happy cause she is always happy when you are around! And that has to make you feel good.

I'm sorry you've been so bummed lately!! What are you doing Friday or Saturday? Kara's going up to VA for her hot date and I'm home by myself all weekend with no plans... let me know if you want to hang out!

I'm sending you GOOD vibes - stay happy and upbeat, as best as you can! Let a little bit of Tassie's joy rub off on you. It's not very fun when the future is uncertain... just take things day by day and know that there are some things within your control and others that are not. I'm cheering for you Bri! Think about that great run with Marty through the Dismal Swamp....heck, that makes ME smile! :)

I dislike the winter funk. Head up there woman, this weekend looks like promising weather and good times outside! Forget about work anyway, that's just a place to pass time until you get to do what you enjoy every day anyway...
