Puny Arms

I have skinny arms. I'm not saying I'm skinny, because I'm not, but my arms are. It's a good thing swimming does not depend on how big your arms are or I would be the slowest one out there. So when someone posted this website on one of my facebook groups, I thought, "I am so in!" Supposedly in just 6 weeks, if I follow a specific training plan I will be able to do 100 consecutive pushups! Stop laughing.

Tonight was my test night. I did 12 consecutive pushups. Again, please stop laughing. You are hurting my feelings.

We'll see how it goes. I am going to try and stick to the plan and see if I can get any stronger. I'd also like to get out of my x-small arm warmers.

I don't have skinny arms. I don't have skinny anything, lol. Yet, this 100 pushup challenge continues to intrigue me.

Good luck!

Good Luck, I have always had arms on the larger side (in fact when I started dating my hubby my arms were bigger), but I think the push-up challenge would cause them to get bigger so you're on your own for this!!

I bet my skinny weak arms are weaker than yours! So I'm not laughing at you. Good luck with the pushup challenge. You can get there!

Yo. News flash. You're skinny. And fit.

For the record, my arms tend to be comparatively scrawny to the rest of me, especially when poking out from my broader than average shoulders. Right now, none of me is skinny, but I'm picking up what you're putting down about the arm thing. So OK your arms are skinny, but the rest of you is too.

Have fun with those pushups!

AP's post made me laugh! Newsflash, you are skinny! HAA, true...I saw that pushup challenge but my shoulders are SOOO Broad from all my swimming days that if I did all those pushups, well, errr....it would be bad. Have fun!!! And, enjoy watching IM FL!

so just in my opinion, I don't think doing 100 pushups is really going to "bulk" your arms.
1st of all push-ups primarily target the pecs, with the biceps and triceps doing a bit of work too.
If you really want to not have "skinny arms", you need to focus on your delts and biceps, along with increased protein in your diet.
just my 2 cents :)
