Piggies

Maybe I have swine flu? "The symptoms of swine flu in people are expected to be similar to the symptoms of regular human seasonal influenza and include fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing. Some people with swine flu also have reported runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. (Source: U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) "

Thanks to Chris T. for getting this into my head!

Last night Maija came over and went with us to the worker bees and pro party held at a local bar and grill in downtown. We had fun getting to know her better and she had fun giving Tassie all sorts of love at the house. I think she enjoyed meeting Tassie the most out of all of us ;)

For once I was nice to myself and didn't take the first flight out of Tampa this morning. I was on the much more humane 11am flight instead. My sister picked me up, fed me some lunch and then I was off to work. My head is still pretty plugged up but I need to get better pronto because not only do I have another race this weekend but work is shaping up to being extremely busy over the next few weeks.

Thanks to everyone who gave me kind words of encouragement. There's not much to do but move on! Getting sick was just bad timing but it's part of life.

Hmmm am experiencing nausea, I hope I don't have the swine flu. I had a great time getting to know you guys! And yes, I did like meeting Tassie :) Cooper and Frito are happy to have me back to spoil them now.

It's such a bummer that you've been feeling sick, but you have a whole season ahead for GREAT racing.

Take care of yourself now and you'll be back on top in no time.
